Banana to Flamengo

Three Flamengo arrive in the grocery store and ask for three long bananas, the grocer says:
I can only sell half a dozen,
The Flamengo ask
how many? 
The grocer responds:
Six.

The Flamengo look at each other and says:
All right! We eat the other three!!
